Individual Artist's Application Deadline: June 1st 20134heads exhibits artworks on Governors Island in 3 different categories, individual artists, galleries and collectives and designers. Please make sure you apply in the correct category.
Each September, 4heads presents the Governors Island Art Fair. GIAF exhibits over 120 individual artists, galleries and designers from around the globe. Every year many thousands of viewers visit this extensive exhibition housed in the landmark structures of historic Governors Island. The Governors Island Art Fair is an exhibition like no other. It is organized, produced, promoted and installed entirely by working artists and volunteers. Participants transport, install and de-install their own works. Each artist or gallery is expected to be present and to communicate with the viewers during the Fair. Before applying you must be certain that you can meet these requirements.
